The Society was founded on May 23, 1998.
Mission
The mission of the CFA Society of New Mexico is to advance the professional development of its members by providing timely and relevant information, enhancing the integrity and recognition of the profession, and promoting adherence to the highest level of professional standards, thereby better serving the investment community.
Strategic Plan
The society seeks to fulfill its mission by:
- Offering informational/educational programs featuring presentations by corporate management, investment and academic professionals. Topics to include ethics and professional conduct.
- Sponsoring events that increase public awareness and encourage membership.
- Extending membership to individuals involved in the investment decision making process with a strong commitment to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
- Utilizing the society's funds in a prudent manner.
